Hi, I'm Phil — and I've spent the last 15 years in the landscaping and outdoor industry learning one thing above all else: the difference between a yard that looks good during the day and a property that stops people in their tracks at night.

I started in landscaping, spending over a decade designing and building outdoor spaces across the region. Over time, I became obsessed with how lighting transformed everything — how a single well-placed uplight could turn a brick facade into a landmark, or how pathway lighting could make a family feel safe walking to their front door every single night. That obsession became Alliance Outdoor Lighting.

I'm a husband, a dad to two kids — ages 12 and 13 — and my faith shapes the way I show up for every customer. I believe in honest work, keeping your word, and treating people's homes with the same care I'd want someone to bring to mine. When I'm not on a job site, you'll probably find me with my family or with a guitar in my hands — music has always been the other place where craft and passion meet for me.

We work exclusively in Franklin, Brentwood, and Belle Meade — not because we can't go further, but because knowing a neighborhood means understanding its architecture, its mature trees, and the character of the homes we're trusted to illuminate. That local knowledge shows up in every design we deliver.

Most lighting companies treat outdoor lighting as an add-on. We built Alliance around it as a craft. Every system is custom-designed for your specific home, your property, and the way your family actually lives outdoors.
